Convert Word documents to PDF
Open or drop a local DOCX, DOCM, DOTX, or DOTM file. Wait for conversion, inspect the PDF preview, and download the result. Navigate pages, adjust zoom, or use focus mode to check paragraphs, tables, headers, footers, images, and equations. Document page sizes and portrait or landscape orientation are used for the output.
Appearance and compatibility
The PDF contains image pages rendered at 150 DPI, with a white background. Text is not selectable or searchable, and OCR is not added. The browser lays out the document using supported content and available fonts; page count, line breaks, font appearance, and complex graphics may differ from Word. Compare the preview with the original before relying on the export.
The final document view is used: inserted text is shown and deleted text is hidden. Review comments are omitted. Page and date fields may be updated during layout, so check their values. Macros are never executed. Hyperlinks, interactive form behavior, and digital signatures are not preserved or verified. Password-protected files, missing document resources, and detected unsupported content stop conversion without a partial PDF download. Complex documents may require export from their original Office application.
Local processing
Files stay in this browser. The converter does not fetch remote document resources or fonts. Replacing, canceling, or closing the file removes the previous result and releases its processing resources. There is no fixed file-size or page-count quota; archive, image, canvas, and browser memory budgets still apply.
To inspect the original file, open the Word Document Viewer. For editable text and structure, use the DOCX to Markdown Converter.
