Extract saved email attachments
Open an EML, EMLX or MSG email to see its embedded files. Download an individual attachment or select several files and create a ZIP. Everything stays in your browser; there is no upload and no remote content is loaded.
Choose the files you need
Ordinary attachments, inline message resources and attached emails have distinct labels. Inline resources start unselected, but you can include them. Empty attachments remain valid empty files. Adjusted download names avoid unsafe names and collisions, while original names remain visible.
Attached RFC 822 emails are downloaded as EML files. Attached Outlook messages are saved as standalone MSG files. Attachments are downloaded as files; their contents are not previewed or executed by this tool.
Supported emails and limits
Use a complete, unencrypted email with its attachments embedded. Detached Apple Mail resources, externally linked files, incomplete messages and unreadable attachments cannot be extracted. An unreadable email body does not prevent extraction when its attachments can be read. Sender identity, delivery and digital signatures are not verified.
Browser memory and supported formats determine what can be processed; there is no fixed file-size or attachment-count quota. To read the message, use the Email Viewer. To save the message body instead, use the Email to HTML / Text Converter.
