About HWP / HWPX to PDF Converter
Open an HWP 5 or HWPX document to create and download a PDF locally in your browser. Supported Korean and mixed-language text, ordinary tables, and embedded images are rendered as page images. The preview shows the exact PDF you will download. To read the source without converting it, use the HWP / HWPX Viewer.
How to convert a document
Choose or drop a document, wait for each page to render, and check the PDF preview. Use page navigation, zoom, fit width, or focus mode to inspect it before downloading. You can cancel, replace, or close the document at any time. There is no product file-size or page-count limit; large documents can require substantial time and browser memory.
Output and compatibility
The PDF contains page images at 150 DPI. It has no selectable or searchable text, and no OCR is added. Page dimensions and order follow the document renderer. Bundled Korean fonts substitute for unavailable document fonts, so glyph shapes, spacing, line wrapping, and page breaks can differ from Hangul.
Ordinary text, tables, and embedded raster or supported SVG images are the intended scope. Complex tables, equations, text boxes, headers, footers, and official forms require careful checking against the original. Unsupported or missing content detected during conversion stops the export; this is not a guarantee that every layout difference can be detected. Macros, linked resources, attachments, comments, signatures, and interactive features are not preserved as interactive PDF content. Digital signatures and document authenticity are not verified.
Privacy and unsupported files
Documents are processed locally. The app downloads its rendering engines and fonts, but does not upload your document or load its remote resources. Password-protected, rights-managed, distribution-only, HWP 3, and earlier documents are not supported. Open these in Hangul and save a readable HWP 5 or HWPX copy first. If the browser runs out of resources, close other tabs or try another device.
