Read a presentation in your browser

Open a local .pptx, .pptm, .potx, .potm, .ppsx, or .ppsm file or drop it into the viewer. Presentations, slideshows, and templates open as saved, read-only slides. Navigate slides, adjust zoom, select text to copy, and search the presentation. Text, shapes, tables, and images are displayed where supported. Choose Export Markdown to prepare slide text and speaker notes, then Download Markdown to save a UTF-8 copy.

Privacy and compatibility

Presentations are processed locally and are not uploaded or saved by this tool. Fonts come from the presentation or your device; no online fonts are requested. Font substitution and unsupported features can affect layout. Animations, transitions, embedded media playback, and presenter mode are not included.

Macro-enabled files can be viewed, but their macros never run. Content that depends on automation or external data is not updated. Templates open without creating a new deck, and slideshows do not start playback or enter fullscreen automatically.

Archive expansion and rendered slide sizes are limited. Encrypted presentations and legacy .ppt files are not supported. The viewer does not edit or print presentations or load external document resources.

Markdown export keeps slide order, available titles, basic text structure, and speaker notes. Hidden slides are included and marked. It does not preserve slide layout, template decorations, review comments, animations, or transitions. Images, charts, equations, media, and embedded objects use omission markers; available shape text is kept. Merged tables and complex formatting are simplified. Check the exported text against the original presentation.

To download a supported presentation as an image-based PDF, use the PPTX to PDF Converter and check the output appearance before downloading.
